Mario Kart, Sonic All-Star, Pokemon Go
Edit: ah sure, board games, I like them more than video games.
Race for the Galaxy, Simply Ingenious, Dixit, Code Names, and some games involving words (for example Apples for Apples) are my favourites.
I love games! Thinking up a game on a theme is just like doing applied maths. The game is an abstraction, a model of a complex real-world situation, where the essence of the problem has to be captured through a few variables (scores, counters, etc.) and rules.
Favourite computer game: FTL.
Favourite board games: Go, gloomhaven, currently enjoying undaunted: normandy.
I’m a board game person – I think Pandemic (and Pandemic Legacy) is my absolute favourite. I also really like Sangrada, Alhambra, Kingdom Builder, Ex Libris, Seven Wonders, Exploding Kittens, Dobble, Takenoko, Ticket to Ride Europe…. (we have a big collection! For Christmas we got Photosynthesis, Wingspan and Quacks of Quindelburg, all of which are really good).
I like Beat Saber (cutting flying cubes with music) very much. There are other interesting things, too, but this is my favourite. In general, we should not spend too much time in virtual reality, only a little bit, for fun.
